Population Changes

Homefacts claims that Ireland's population will hit 5m by 2015.

This is about as realistic as the 2005 survey of Estate Agents where 70% predicted that by 2015 the average house in Dublin would cost 750k.

Far from net immigration Ireland's former immigrants are going home in huge numbers and they are being followed by many thousands of Ireland's youngest and brightest.

If the 5m by 2015 ever made sense, it didn't by 2008 when the CIF launched their site, and it certainly makes no sense at all now.
